Collection: BowSoCute

It all began in late 2020 whilst searching for a beautiful gift for a friends baby girl. We were in the midst of a third lockdown, I couldn’t find any baby bows I liked, and needed a hobby. So, I dusted off my mums old sewing machine, and got to work.

After making those first bows I set up an Instagram page, just for fun. I expected it to fizzle out once lockdown was over, but over the next few weeks, our following started to grow, I got the hang of the sewing machine, and it seemed like I could really make a go of this little ‘side hustle’. 

A year later I had outgrown the dining room and moved into a small storage unit. I was working full time and commuting 3 hours a day, but still working on Bow So Cute every spare moment, even in the middle of the night.

Two years in, I quit my 9-5, moved into our dedicated office space, and dived headfirst into full time self employment. It’s been a year since then, and I’ve never looked back.
